Those are absolutely stunning! I think my favourites are the first & last. I do love the cheerfulness of daisies and the last photo looks so lacy and delicate.
The first photo is Shasta Daisy, I am not sure of the varity. The second and third are a really nice late summer blooming Clematis. The 4th and 6th are Hydrangea Annabelle. This is usually a rather floppy, water loving hydrangea, but since it had afternoon shade it was quite happy. The 5th is a white Cosmos.
White Flowers so beautiful, makes a grey day in Minnesota much easier to handle. Your archives are fantastic! The Annabelle must be in a perfect spot to be so white! :)
A part of me would like to live in an all white cottage shabby shic place with white flowers aplenty. But then I think of grand-dogs and grandchildren. So I admire them from my garden. Your blooms are perfect for our crisp cool day here in NC. They are beautiful.
Hi Jen, Your white's are gorgeous! Makes me want to go into my picture files and start posting away! It is so dull and dreary out...I think most of my winter will be spent looking through my garden photos from last summer. Take care! Jan
WOw! I knew what they all were, except the Hydrangeas! I have not seen white ones! They are stunning! This post is beautiful...since it is so brown and mostly ugly outside these days! These 'whites' wash the drearies away!! Thank you!!
The daisies! Never tire of daisies!

ReplyDeleteSuch lovely crisp, white flowers for me to enjoy on a grey, foggy day in Georgia. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI just love white flowers and how they 'pop' in the garden. Yours have put a smile on my face for the day!
ReplyDeleteNow I just wish we would get some white around here in time for Christmas!!! Kim
Just what I needed to brighten up our cold, rainy, gloomy day here in NE Ohio.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to be able to look back at all those lovely flower photos. White flowers have such a nice glow, especially in the evening.

White is one of my favorite colors of blooms in the garden. I especially love it at twilight. Beautiful images here!
