Hmmm, what to do?

Florishious made me a gorgeous scarf last year for Christmas, in luxurious shades of chartreuse and green, with cute little eyelash threads. I wear it all winter, it keeps me snugly warm, and I love it. When Turftoter visited this fall, she noticed the scarf and mentioned that she would love to have one in blue. And would I ask Florishious if she could make her one. Flowerishious surprised me with another scarf this Christmas, it is blue and speckled with hot pink, orange, and lime wool. I absolutely love it!!!! She told me that I could keep it or give it to Turftoter, and that is my dilemma
Do I give her the scarf or not? It is a hard decision. Who am I kidding! I'm keeping it!
NOT!
But it is gorgeous! I hope that one day she makes me one also.

  3. Turf Toter is my sister, and she did mention that she would love to have one of the scarves, so it was not really a hard decision to make.

I am a good sister, am I not? LOL.

  6. Hi Jen,
Uh-oh I've found another blog to explore...(thanks Carolynn!) I'm a card putter-togetherer too...but as my own worst critic, I now have new heights to strive for! Your work is beautiful.
Do you make your own stock? I really need to expand my market and will get busy doing that. You have a beautiful blog and inspiring photography!

  9. I've been waiting to see this new scarf. If you don't pass it on to it's rightful owner, it will eventually disappear from your closet anyway.

  12. At moments like this you need to do a blog blackout to certain people who might read and then be very concerned that their fabulous scarf didn't make it into their closet.... Those colours are yummy.

  13. that is such a pretty color combo, I'd probably have to keep it!

Maybe your friend would show you how to knit and you could make another one!

  14. Bekah, The new masthead has been up for a few days. It is actually the photo used for one of this years Christmas cards.

Carolynn, Flowerishous is a good friend, we worked together at the previous nursery, and now we both work at the current nursery, she has a gorgeous garden. I did a post on her this summer. I did try and talk her into making more scarves, but she said she wants a break, after making so many last year. But I will hint again, who knows, maybe she will pick up those knitting needles.

Eve, so glad that you dropped by, I love your blog. I don't make my own paper stock, it is a little too time consuming right now, maybe one day.

Far Side, great idea! It will take days to find them, who knows where they are.

Dana, and Daisy, I do know how to knit, it is just a matter of finding the time. It cuts into my blogging LOL.

  15. It would be hard to be generous when you are tempted with that kind of beauty! Love the colors in both scarfs. I'm wearing scarfs all the time these days! It's freezing here this Winter!

  16. Hi--
I just discovered your blog. I think I got here from Red Pine Mountain. I know this is an older post, but I was just kind of scanning down your site and when I got here, I thought the scarves were a row of grass and flowers! So pretty; thought you might appreciate that.

Since before I can remember clearly, I've been infamous for not giving gifts I've gotten for others. In my baby book, Mom says I bought a little change purse on a necklace for my sister for Christmas (I was 3), and I refused to give it up! I've learned now I always need to buy 2 of things I love!
