Are you a lonely blogger? Is anyone else in your life a blogger, other than the people who read your blogs?

Why do we blog? The reasons vary, some blog for fame, some blog as a online journal to record important milestones in their life. While others blog just for the sense of community, knowing that you are sharing common interests, we all have our reasons, and I would like to know yours.
Tell me, why you blog, and what made you start?
I know of no one else personally that blogs, other than the wonderful people whose blogs I read, and those who read mine. We share a community, a sense of togetherness. I consider them my friends.
Thank you friends, it has been good to meet you!
In fact when I started to blog, I was a little sceptical of the whole process. I thought that most bloggers were politically oriented or just slightly not all there. Some sort of oddball person, who collects only the green Lego's pieces made before 1970, and looking for friends who wanted to play with them.

I started because it gave me a outlet to post some of the photos I was taking. This way I would not have to email my long suffering friends the endless slide shows and photo files that I was currently filling their in boxes with.
When I first told friends that I started a blog, it was almost apologetic, can you believe it, yes me, a blog? I know, now I am one of those people.

Now, I have no problem saying, yes I write a blog, and I really enjoy it! And I enjoy the people I am meeting through my blogging. There are some amazing people out there, and they have interesting stories to tell, and I for one, am looking forward to hearing them.
So let me know, what made you decide to blog?
