With all the fog we have been having, and before that the snow, my photographic subject matter was severely limited.
But I look forward to my "fresh air day", as one when I take the camera out for a spin, exercising my creativity while working at the nursery.

Every time a new shipment of fresh from the greenhouse plants come in, out comes the camera, and the wallet. Working here is just too tempting, something is bound to catch your eye.

One of my early spring favorites is Primula obconica. While not hardy, they do make a great indoor houseplant, and can go outside during the warm weather in a shady spot

And when they show up, it means that spring is definitely around the corner.
Anyone have any signs of spring yet? Let me know, I think we are all ready for it.
Jen, I love your pictures, especially the grape hyacinths at the top. There are lots of signs of spring here, my neighbour has daffodils but I prefer my snowdrops in January! I like to enjoy each one of the spring flowers as they come out. My hellebores are nearly out, spring is definitely on its way.

The bottom photo is my favourite. Are those grape hyacinths in the header? gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Those are sweet little splashes of colour and a sure sign of spring! Yippee!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind, supportive words this morning. I will absolutely keep in touch!

ReplyDeleteOh so pretty! Your new header is beautiful! Nope no sign of spring yet. Still snowy here, but a bit warmer!! It is above zero! :)
ReplyDeleteNo signs of spring yet in Ontario ... just snow and cold. It is lovely to see photos of blooms, keep them coming.
ReplyDeleteMy only sign of spring is found in your wonderful photographs! You need to keep me going until April, girl!! :) We are buried in winter here in Ontario.
ReplyDeleteThe only sign of Spring here (Colorado USA) is the warmth in my heart! We have had 60 degree days, but the night are cold, so nothing will be blooming for a few months around here. Love your pictures!
ReplyDeleteLove those flowers! No signs of spring - more snow is falling as I write this and the ice is still nice and thick on the lake.
ReplyDeleteI love looking at nature photos. These fog and flower pictures are so lovely and sprakling! Nice blog name, btw!
