Many people stopped what they were doing and listened.
Some could hear it clearly, some could not hear anything
over the roaring winds, and snow storms.
Your comments are wonderful.
For those who cannot hear it yet, I just ask that you be patient. It will come, soon.
And those who are hearing spring loud and clear, share it with us. We all need a change of seasons right about now.
Jen, I've currently got a concrete mixer sitting in the middle of my "flower bed." UGH!!! I'm still listening but oh do I have lots of work in the garden when this porch reconstruction is through!!!!!
Since I have started blogging I have become so much more aware of the people riding around on the world with me. I hope this realization and the "friends" I make will balance out some all the screen time I am spending while chores await. Good to know the green is out there, though far away.
I hear the birds, they've been coming in bunches all stirred up and giddy, I'm hopefully assuming their are moving up from further south because spring is almost here.
Another lovely post...you are very welcome. I heard spring this morning when the robin was chatting at me! The birds are active and it feels like spring can't be too far away...gail
Well the sun did shine for part of the day, then the wind came up and it is blowing thirty miles an hour, it was warmer..but then with the wind chill it was zero again. Maybe that was spring.. just visiting ..and now the wind sent it someplace else:)
I really enjoyed this post. I'm desperately wanting an early spring.
ReplyDeleteYou're just teasing me, aren't you? We still have at least 6 weeks of snow and ice.. but I like it, especially when the sun shines, like today.'
ReplyDeleteMy mum tells me that the crocuses in southern England are already peeking through... I'm amazed!

ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful sunny day out there today. What a difference a bright splash of sunshine will do. Now if it will only warm up a bit.

ReplyDeleteI'm happy for you, but here spring is at least another month and a half away. At LEAST. Sigh.

ReplyDeleteI so enjoy your posts. They encourage closer looks and quieter moments. Thanks for bringing me so many smiles.
