Jen there is nothing like sunflowers to make people feel smiley ? perky ? happy ? .. not sure what it is exactly other than such a pretty yellow/gold but it does the trick ! : )
Wonderful photos Muddy - they really perked me up again. I'd just got to that 'Shattered Sunday'feeling after a glorious day working in the garden, but where I'd got too cold from being out too long - and maybe (just maybe) fishing dead leaves out of the pond didn't really help to keep me warm! But a nice hot shower, tea cooking, the prospect of a glass of good red, plus your glorious photos and all is right with the world again!!!
Glad that everyone is enjoying the bright colors. These were sunflowers from Floweriscous's garden last year. I knew that it was going to rain today, and I thought this might be the perfect antidote.
I feel sunny today.
