Invaded?

We are being invaded by long legged and getting taller every minute, mountain biking young men. My BIL, along with my nephew, and his friend, have come down for a surprise visit. I am wondering, how can my nephew have grown so much since I last saw him? But what nice young men they are growing into. There is a awful lot of testosterone in this condo right now, and I am outnumbered by guys. Good thing I did not paint the living room hot pink. Watch for Fridays post to see who the next Muddy Booter is , and remember that every Friday a random commenter gets a chance to be highlighted. Now I am off to photograph bicycles, helmets, spokes, and long legged young men.

  1. What a nice suprise! My boyfriend is trying to sell his dirtbike to buy a mountain bike now. He has been watching local mtn bike youtube videos every day lately! Not getting me on those trails!

    Have fun!

  4. I know what you mean about invasions of long-legged young men .....we have numerous teenagers from Last-Born's vast group of admirers turning up on a regular basis and, as First-Born is due home from university this weekend, no doubt some of her male entourage will also be arriving very shortly afterwards!

Don't they take up HUGE amounts of space?! - and they all have enormous feet too!

  7. I say you take advantage of all that male energy and get THEM to paint your living room hot pink!

I'm looking forward to the next round of photos.

  8. Your pictures are divine... Isn't it amazing how kids go through spurts that make it appear they are growing before your eyes. My daughter is doing that - she's eight.

I also suggest you get the first aid kit ready - that many adventurers in one spot usually means at least one skinned shin or cut arm!

  19. I am living with that kind of invasion. They are growing like weeds. It is weird to look up to my baby.

  20. I love the soft glow of the first photo. It has an other worldly feel to it.

Sometimes an extra boost of male energy is good...... enjoy your company, and the energy they bring with them.
