Is anyone out there? Hello, hello? Photo shop Elements, anyone home?
I seem to be experiencing difficulties with one your products. But I can't find a
phone number to call and talk to a "real live" person.
I think that is called personal service, and most companies like to offer it.
Maybe you are all out there taking hundreds of photos, having such fun cropping, and changing colors that you decided not to come into the office today.
I know that you exist, since you are always sending me updates, and information about all the wonderful new products that you want me to buy. But where are you?
See I am having this problem, there are masses of [I hope] really interesting photos on my memory card, but Adobe photo shop elements doesn't want to down load them onto my computer. Everything is going along well, they show up on the screen, and then suddenly they disappear.
This can lead to a very frustrating wait since it takes a long time to download over 800 photos. Actually it takes over 9.46 minutes. See I timed it, after trying for the 7 th time, and watching them disappear into thin air right in front of my eyes.
So Adobe Photo shop, if you really at home, could you please pick up the phone?

I am sorry you are having issues with photoshop! I can't wait to see your 900 photos. I bet they are amazing!
ReplyDeleteWonderful blues for today... please stop by and see what I shared for Bloom Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteLOVE YOUR BLOG ... Happy Spring to you!
A funny post, though I do feel your pain. I wish I had some suggestions for fixing the problem. Hope you do manage to get some help soon.
ReplyDeleteaaagh - I share your frustration at not getting a real person to talk to! (Better not mention the Orange phone company that I spent about an hour on the phone with trying to get some sense today!!!)
ReplyDelete.....but at least the photos you have got are as beautiful as ever Jen! They bring me great joy :)
OMG! I'm having the same experience with a security program I loaded on my computer. They automatically renew it every year and charge my credit card. I don't want to have this service any more. Do you think I can find any way of contacting them? No phone number, no address to write to, no e-mail address. Just endless feedback loops on their webpage. My last resort may simply be to cancel my credit card. That should get their attention.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your photos. How frustrating that must be to have them within reach and not be able to access them.
I was having Elements issues too, that is why I decided it wasn't worth it and downloaded the free Picasa 3. So much easier to use and without the aggravating issues.
ReplyDeleteMaybe if enough of us switch that'll get their attention.
Wish I could help Jen, but you know how I am when it comes to anything even remotely connected to computers. I'm sure someone out there has a solution for you. Hopefully sooner than later!
ReplyDeleteLove that personal service don't ya?
ReplyDeleteJen try the number below. They will probably say they can't help but you can insist upon getting contact info for your issue. If the person on the line won't/can't help you ask to speak to their supervisor. Everyone has a boss.

Elements has eaten two different batches of photos of mine lately. I of course in all my haste deleted the pics from my camera and now they are floating around somewhere in my computer with Adobe refusing to acknowledge that fact and let me access them...ughhh I feel your pain! Kim
ReplyDeletejen,
ReplyDeletelove love love the blue flowers. all the photos are wonderful.
i especially love the images of simply sunday, absolutely gorgerous.
Gotta love that phone "service" don't you?
ReplyDeleteThe next job I get is gonna be with the gov't or as a technical support person. Easy peasy money for doing not much of anything...
The photos are gorgeous as usual though !!
And before you think that I'm a totally ungrateful twit...
I want to thank you SO much for featuring me as your Muddy Booter last week ! I loved the post - almost as much as I love you for doing it! You're such a sweetheart !!
*hugs*
Well these are great photos..hope you get it all straightened out soon..frustrating :(
ReplyDeleteYou were really 'blue' today I can see...
ReplyDeletebut still gorgeous!
Oh, that must be so frustrating. Isn't it interesting that in these tough economic times, companies often make cuts their "service" centers first! So odd. You'd think they would be beefing those up so we would be more willing to buy. Good luck on finding out the problem. Wish I was more of a geek so I could help you! ;o)
ReplyDeletePS - I used another one of your cards today. So beautiful!
I think "customer service" is becoming a thing of the past. They make it harder and harder to get to a real person. I am sorry. Wishing you the best of luck!
ReplyDeleteoooh buggers!
ReplyDeleteall your photos are beautiful. spring can't come fast enought for me.
