Go ahead and do something you most likely rarely do.
Just be.
Who am I to tell you what to do you might ask? I am not the one who is telling you to do this.
It is you who will give yourself permission.
Just be yourself. Just be relaxed, just be........happy, alive in the moment, content with life.
Put aside everything, your job, your lack of a job, your worries, your stresses, your to do list, the vacuuming, the phone calls and emails that need to be returned. Forget everything, and just be.
Just simply be.
If now is not the moment, then save this for a time when you really need it. Keep it in a safe place, a special place, and when you find you need it, take it out and use it.
Just be.
Wonderful thoughts from a blessed friend on this early Monday Morning.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday ((HUGS))
Amen!
ReplyDeleteI find I have to do this regularly or I begin to get very grouchy. And who wants to be around a grouchy strung out person? lol
Ah, you struck a chord with this one Jen ....I'm off, just to be! Thank you so much for the timely reminder :)
ReplyDeleteJen,
ReplyDeleteWe all need this reminder from time to time, as we get so wrapped up in our lives, our worries, and sometimes our fears. I suppose this is why I garden. It is kind of an escape for me. I don't really think of much else other than the plants and flowers, and admiring the beauty I am surrounded with. Nature is such a great escape!
Such a smart thing to do. Good advice and I hope you take your own advice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jen for the calming pictures today.
ReplyDeleteLovely! A great reminder that we need to just be...
ReplyDeletegreat post, wonderful reminder
ReplyDeleteGood advice and just in time!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words of advice. I like to this as often as possible. Sadly, it's been a while. I'm hoping to be able to set aside some time for this before my summer holidays...thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteP.S....I really LOVE these photos! Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying!
ReplyDeleteI love it. Sometimes you just need someone else to tell you to just be.
ReplyDeleteI was trying..then I noticed something..in that last photo is that frost or snow? Sometimes I escape to your blog...to just be! Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely thought. That's what gardening, or a walk in the country, does for me - just allows me to be.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to read your blog first! What a beautiful post - we all need reminded to just be sometimes- thank you! I will!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful thoughts. I think we ladies sometimes feel guilty if we take time for ourselves, which is silly. Everyone needs to unwind and just go with the flow.
ReplyDeleteI did just as you suggested. I got up, took Hubby out into the garden, and we sat--just being. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteCindy
Jen, you're a dear ... beautiful thoughts and so true! Thank you for the 'time out' and permission to 'simply be'!
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right, but it does take practice. Being in a garden in springtime does help, though!
