Every comment is important, you have taken the time to let me know how you feel about what I have written, and I do appreciate it. Sometimes I will respond on the blog, and sometimes I will take a more private approach and email you back.
Our blogs are like gardens, and your comments are the flowers that bloom most beautifully in them.....

Hi, Jen,
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see this year's photos...and I love the birdhouse! Have a relaxing Sunday. ~Natalie
I do the same thing!!! it also helps to document what I did and did not like that I have done!!! great photos...what a pretty place!
ReplyDeleteIt is always fun to compare photos of the garden from one year to the next. Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
ReplyDeleteI just looked at pictures of our home and garden from about 8 or 9 years ago and wow talk about changes. Some of it was better back then but mostly the changes have been good ones.
ReplyDeleteBlogging is just wonderful. No where could we meet the mix of people in our life time if we didn't blog. Just look at the great faces that follow your blog. All 1o3 of them.

Jen, I've been going through my archived photos and what an eye opener they are...after all my complaining about the lack of real color this spring...the photos reveal how alive it really was! I am hoping my photos help me plan what to edit out and where to move plants this fall...Oh, isn't digital fantastic! Blogging friends are, too! gail
ReplyDeleteIt's always good to be able to look back and see the changes from before, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteA couple of times, things I "thought" looked good, ended up showing differently than what I had actually seen... so I made changes in the way things were arranged.
Trust my camera to have a better eye than I do!.
It is amazing to see how gardens change from one year to the next. Photos are a great way to "remember" in the winter too when it comes to thinking about changes! For me, I found it very helpful to figure out what colors I wanted next to each other in the perennial beds.
ReplyDeleteI am anxious to see your comparison photos:)
Your garden looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing and I'm sure it will be back to this green state in no time!
ReplyDeleteThat is so true---this is a good record keeping process and wonderful journey for friendships. Your plants and garden did/do look grand. I like the birdhouse.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a veritable forest you had last year. :o)) Mine's pretty skimpy by comparison. And, (I don't want to jinx anything here, but) No aphids!!! *Wild happy dancing*
ReplyDeleteLove foliage....and HOSTA's...sigh....they reign. Lovely shots!
