Wednesday Words

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. This is a partial verse from a email that I received, and I have always loved it. There was no accreditation so I am not sure who wrote it.
If you know, leave me a comment please.
During this intense heat wave that most of the world is going through, this makes a good motto right now. Actually, it might even be considered words to live by.

  5. C Hummel Wilson, thanks for visiting., always good to hear from a new reader.

I do hear the birds chirping while I type, but that is pretty much the only music I hear right now. Maybe you got me mixed up with someone else?

  12. I didn't realize that there was such a heat spell in other places. The last 2 days we've had weather in the 60's and 70's for our high -- really unusual for this time of year. Right now it's 49 degrees... Oddly cool. Hope it cools down where you are. Loved the quote -- so applicable for us all.

  13. that's a really nice motto to live by. When I feel like my life is tough and fall into my pity party mood, I make myself think about things in perspective and thank God for my blessings!

  14. Jen .. I love the photograph paired with the quote. I think I have heard that a few years ago but again .. no name responsible for it was present .. I hope it cools off for you soon .. we have not had our usual heat and humidity raging summer .. they are calling it the summer that never was here in south eastern Ontario.
But ... it has been good for the garden !!

  15. HEATWAVE???? HUH??? I wish- here in lovely green Norway it's raining- I think we're on day 35..I'm not sure..but I'm nervous for when we hit 40...my ark is long from finished..;-)) Could you be so kind as to send a little of this heat of yours over to Norway?? Thanks and yes, the sentiment you wrote is wonderful and very true..I love to live by the Golden rule which we learned in first grade- Do unto others as you would have them do undo you...that usually treats you pretty well if you live by that rule!! :-))Have a great day!!
