Integrity, it is such a small word, but it has such large meaning.
With all the problems Bloggers have been encountering lately, you would think that having your photos, and posts stolen, or copied would be the last thing you would have to worry about.
But unfortunately it is not.
You can read about one Bloggers fight here, Debi Ward Kennedy is fighting for her blog rights, because some one is stealing her posts. In fact he is doing much more than plagiarizing them.
I found out about the pledge through her blog, after she posted about the difficulties she is encountering.
You will find the badge on my sidebar. Should you wish to add the badge to your blog, you can find the link here.
Blogging with integrity.
Now go and take the pledge!
I will! I will! Although I believe this kind of thing is hard to stop...
ReplyDeleteI believe that it is hard to stop also, but how are we to know, if we don't try.
ReplyDeleteJen
We must always try. Always. I block spammers, I block phising sites etc.
ReplyDeleteMy son had a video on the internet that he had been offered money for at one point. One day when looking at the video he saw that a company had taken his video and added their advertisement to it. We were all over them like flies on you know what. We contacted them, we wrote about them and inundated them with criticisms of their honesty anywhere they had an ad or a site. It took a couple of days but they removed their ads. A lot of work but it was worth it.
I'm grabbing my badge and taking the pledge!
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't mind, I just linked to you about this Blogging With Integrity...I think we need to get the word out!!
ReplyDeleteI consider this an unspoken agreement, however, I'm in. I signed the pledge and will display the badge.
ReplyDeleteI took the pledge. Thanks for the info.
