I'm in the garden - Archives

There is quite a disparity between the amount of summer/spring/fall photos and the number of winter shots in my archives.
You may have seen some of these before, especially the photo of the wind chime, and the spider web. But it was difficult to find some photos from this time last year. This year I am definitely trying to get out there between wind storms and shoot something interesting. Let's just say, it's is a challenge. But we all love challenges don't we? Have a great Sunday.

  1. Good Sunday Morning, Peaceful pictures this morning. Our yard is so colorless in the winter months....mostly brown! I wish you a good day.

  4. These are new to me. Embrace the windstorm and take a picture of the cattle blowing by. It worked in the movie Twister.

  5. For newbies like myself to your blog it is a treat to see your winter photos. I love drops of water that reflect the light it is uplifting to me.
Frankly I love the shapes of trees, which you can only capture without their leaves. Each season reveals a beauty of God.

  6. Hi Jen~~ I know what you mean. Between the rain, wind and mounds of leaf-fall, my plants are definitely in hunker-down mode. I'm wondering if the middle photo is a hydrangea or ? I love how you captured the drip-in-motion. Genius.

  8. Hi Grace, yes it is one of my "beloved" Hydrangeas that didn't bloom this year.

Hint, hint, hydrangea. There is a compost pile for the likes of you.

I think I ran out there and took this shot between rain storms, hence the great big water drop on the petal. Seems like there were lots of opportunities that day.

  10. Your photos are always top notch no matter how many times you post them. Will be working on your give-a-way package this week. Have had a retarded acting elbow!
