How is your blog loading lately? Quickly, or is it slow as molasses?
If you like to read a lot of blogs, you quickly realize that those whose “motor isn’t running quickly” can be very frustrating to visit. The added time it takes to have all the plug ins and badges load on the side bars can make it very slow.
I don’t remember where I first saw this website called STOPWATCH.
I like to give my blog, and my website www.muddybootdreams.com a check up every now and then.
The site is called Stopwatch, if you are into stats, this should surely get your motor running.

Wow I thought to myself, they sure are good at the Botanical plant match game, I am going to have to practice alot to get anywhere near that.....LOL.

Hi Jen~~ 11 seconds. I'm one of the bad people. Sorry. I hope people will still visit. I just can't help being attracted to all the cute little freebie embellishments. Plus I just put my blogroll on my sidebar and I think this adds to the time.
ReplyDeleteJen, I so appreciate this info. I've just switched to a new site, a switch motivated by the desire for some of the bells and whistles I'd seen elsewhere (my old theme was minimalist Zen), and I've had reader complaints that it's now taking longer to load, and now I can see why.

ReplyDeleteHi Jen, it's interesting, but do you think it's 'accurate'? I entered mine 8 times, and each time I got a different number. Ranging from 2.186 up to 6.897. The first time it was 4.79. Tried it again and it was 2.something. Logged out of the site, went back to your page, and went in again. Got a 2.something. It just never gave me the same thing twice, so I'm wondering why. But, it is a neat idea and if it works, gives us good feedback. I hope mine doesn't take too long to load...
