Spring thrills us

Blue Bells April 2010

~ If you've never been thrilled to the very edges

of your soul by a flower in spring bloom, maybe

your soul has never been in bloom. ~

Take a few moments to yourself this week, and spend some time with spring.

I think that it will thrill you.

I know it thrills me.

  1. I walk with women who NEVER notice the changing flowers or how the new leaves on trees look against the brilliant blue sky! There is so much peace to be found in being in a garden or looking at a flower...gail Love the photo! gail

  5. Hi Jen,
Lovely pic & post! I am probably one of the slowest hikers on the planet, because i ALWAYS have to stop & look... especially in the spring & early summer when the wildflowers are blooming! Even still, (like the tortoise) I always to get where ever I'm going... EVENTUALLY. This used to drive one of my backpacking buddies crazy! Luckily, I also have friends like me who know when we venture into the wilderness... it will be an all day affair, with plenty of time for reflection & photography.

I am reminded of a Georgia O' Keefe Quote:
"Nobody sees a flower, really. It is so small. We haven't time, and to see takes time..."

    Have a great week!

  12. Nice pictures with sweet quotes. Spring really makes its presence felt by putting colours on a white canvas that has been set by Winter!
