ReplyDeleteLovely pic & post! I am probably one of the slowest hikers on the planet, because i ALWAYS have to stop & look... especially in the spring & early summer when the wildflowers are blooming! Even still, (like the tortoise) I always to get where ever I'm going... EVENTUALLY. This used to drive one of my backpacking buddies crazy! Luckily, I also have friends like me who know when we venture into the wilderness... it will be an all day affair, with plenty of time for reflection & photography.
I am reminded of a Georgia O' Keefe Quote:
"Nobody sees a flower, really. It is so small. We haven't time, and to see takes time..."
