It was purple, I had to buy it

Collages37

I was at my local big box store the other day hunting for something hardwarish that I needed, and ran across these gorgeous eggplant/aubergine color or if you choose purple watering cans.

I had been eyeing them all spring, but at $19.99 they were way out of my league. Watering can collector that I am or not.  Great news, they were clearing them out at half price, who could complain?

It was purple, I had to buy it

So somehow it made it’s way into my car, and we happily drove around all day running errands together. And now, it sits on my deck, waiting to look useful.

Ain’t life grand?

  11. Of course you did~and there's no need to explain to any of us who adore purple! Purple rocks! I am planning on painting some classic concrete columns I bought in the 80s the same purple as my fence/chairs. That will bring them into this century! I went back and had another look~ the watering can rocks! gail

  14. That is irresistibly, cute Jen! I would have taken it home, too.

I loved your comments on my blog about the seagulls...I know how loud they can be in White Rock, which is why these quiet fellows surprised me! Perhaps there's something in the Steveston water that could be moved to WR to quieten down the noise a little...:)

    Thanks for stopping by...

  19. For anyone interested in the watering cans that were on sale, I got it at a Canadian Home Depot.

They probably have them in the US also.

Let us know if you find one.

  24. Sadly my watering can is not so shiny or pretty coloured but I do have a Canadian Tire nearby! Although I'm sure my spouse would argue that I have many more containers in this house than is really necessary.
