October is such a sweet transition month, and I have been reading about many Bloggers saying that it is their favorite.
I’d like to go one further, and say, “October, I would like to live in you forever.”
Could you imagine, soft warm days, some of them hot, some cooler, and deep dark nights. Pumpkins, harvest, sunflowers, and sunshine? And for us Canadians, a Thanksgiving holiday..
Pure bliss.
October I love you forever. Well, maybe almost as much as I do April. It’s close.

Here I am hardly awake and you go and make me all nostalgic for those lovely Octobers of my youth in the Midwest. Autumn is simply not the same here in the Pacific Northwest, I'm very sorry to say.
ReplyDeleteMeeee toooo.
ReplyDeleteI am loving the mild fall weather too. And yes, the colors of the leaves are just beautiful now.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific Tuesday. ~Natalie
No way. August, every day, all day. Wanna trade months?
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the blue blue of October weather! Delicious - with a twist of gold and chill.

Jen,
ReplyDeleteYou might be right about October! Last night I dreamed of the aroma of pumpkins cooking. Today the local grocery had the best pumpkin muffins... Loved that photo!
Carolynn, nooooo way. Octobers rare heat is enough for me. But thanks anyways.
ReplyDeleteChasity, of course. I'm cheap, it's from Jerry at Shadow house. I am in love with his work.
You always make me smile, great post! My sentiments exactly. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jen, October is a beautiful month for sure. It looks like the sunshine is back here where I'm at. I'm wondering about you up north...
ReplyDeleteSo lovely, Jen, and as always, the perfect photo!
ReplyDeleteI love that photo. It expresses the Autumn season very well. Actually Autumn is my least favourite time of year, it's all about death....
ReplyDeleteI'd take September or October! Those crisp, cool mornings, warm days, can't be beat. Perhaps that is mother nature's way of enticing us into the garden to do all the work that needs to be done this time of year.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. October is fabulous. But then April is real close!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
jen, If it would rain, just a little, then i could live in October, too!
ReplyDeleteOh, October is No. 1 for me! Superb photography!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I do not know about forever. But I am enjoying this Octobers weather so far! It has been wonderful to have a bit of sunny, sometimes warm weather! We went up to Semiahmoo the other day, and I thought of you as we looked out across the water at White Rock. Does your place look out over the water? White Rock is in a beautiful location on that hill, looking out over the water. Makes for beautiful sunsets!
ReplyDeleteI think I like May better..a month of rebirth here..dead stuff starts to come alive again. We are having a beautiful summer day today ..nearly 70 degrees. Indian Summer..I could take this until the day before Christmas! :)
