I adore birds nest’s, and am always on the lookout for them. We even had one that came in our cut Christmas tree last year.
I search them out when I am walking, and while driving, during winter they are easy to see perched in the bare branches. There is something inspiring in the fact that such a small creature can create a structure so substantial, and with only a beak.
This bird’s nest stamp is also a favourite of mine, along with the color turquoise. It seems to be a perfect pairing with it’s chocolate brown ink, and ribbon.
The tiny sparkles in the eggs add a bit of Christmas [or anytime of year] glitz.
I have created a set of gift tags, this one is going to a friend who is equally enamoured of the nest, and the color turquoise.
And they come in pink also.
Let me know what you think.

ReplyDeleteI have a "thing" for bird nests and turquoise, so I love your tags, Jen! I have a real bird nest in the house along with some pen & ink sketches of nests that I've done. I don't think I could ever tire of them - especially the occupied ones I find while hiking. :)
