I am kind of feeling like this Clematis flower today. Pulled in all directions, notice it’s vining stems. Day’s like this are actually good, because when things go quiet, you have that extra moment for reflection, to think, to ponder, and you really appreciate it.
Just a lot of “life” things going on, in a bitter cold day. We are expecting to have –10 C, by the end of the week, that’s if it doesn’t snow.
I managed to “forget” a dental appointment, this is after telling them that I would never forget [oh no I live in dread of them], why would I forget?
Well, I didn’t, forget so to speak, I just got the day wrong.
And the internet disappeared from our place last night, got that all fixed up early this morning, and now I can blog again, that’s a good thing.
My mind is on all of the crocus, and bulbs that are spearing up from the cold ground. This is a unforeseen cold, unexpected, unwanted.
Winter leave, we have had enough.
“Please”
Pretty Please?

I feel what your saying, and on those days for me I go back to bed for a nice cozy nap! Like I will be here soon!
ReplyDeleteI agree. I think I know why bears hibernate!!
ReplyDeleteThat photo is wonderful -- I feel like that too. Too many projects on the burners right now and trying to juggle them all is getting me down. Hope you have a good day.
ReplyDeleteJen winter is not leaving here either..we have a winter storm on the way..so I am cleaning my basement tomorrow on my day off...can't see my garden under all the snow so I am in denial and will just not think about it...as if I could do that!
ReplyDeleteI am right here with you girl. I am debating a trip to the Island but am worried about the snow factor.
ReplyDeleteOh I am so with you. It's supposed to get to -31 Celcius tonight...and snow too. I feel like leaving the country....and only coming back when it melts and spring is springing.
ReplyDeleteLovely picture...I just have to keep coming back to look at it. Hopeful for spring.....
Beautiful clematis...and yes, I am going in every direction this morning trying to get everything done at once! I love being busy but I get a bit overwhelmed sometimes! ♥
ReplyDeleteJen girl .. what can I say ?.. it is COLD here too plus we are under a winter storm warning .. so at least you are escaping that for now ? LOL
ReplyDeleteI so wish I could even think we might see some bulbs in about MAYBE another month ?? EEKKKKKK !!!
Joy ;-)
Oh Jen we sure got the snow over here yesterday - schools closing and them saying on the radio to keep off the roads, etc. Just nasty - I'm trying to garden here!
ReplyDeleteAh Jen, hang in there.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you hit a chord here- with all the responses. I will chime in and say yup, yup, yup. Help!! Great photo and thanks for putting words what a lot of us are feeling!
ReplyDeleteDentist? I'd forget too. I would much rather see the eye doc. I have had cataract surgery on both eyes and those surgeries were much less painful than the crowns I get. Better drugs! As you, dreaming of an early spring. cheers. ann
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely picture!
ReplyDeleteIf it's any consolation, we've had - 25 C! So your temps seem.. well... balmy?
clematis a la bondage! very cool...
ReplyDeleteWinter better stay away, though it's cool now here. My pretty spring flowers are coming up!
