Lost in space……

2011 05 25_6820

I don’t know about you, but has Blogger just gotten your goat lately?

Or maybe it’s gone and lost that also.

After the little fiasco of Blogger being down for days, now I can’t sign out of my blog. And I keep getting a Error 400, what ever that is.  I am joining in the ranks of those marching to the different beat.  Except we keep losing it.

And seriously thinking of moving to a different platform, except it’s a big world out there, I need to really think this over.  I know I keep threatening, but change doesn’t happen overnight.

All of my followers have disappeared into thin air, maybe they are hanging out with the goat, that Blogger has gotten.

Somewhere, somehow….

Oh I am sure they will return, I love seeing your snippets of comments on the side of my blog, missing that too.

I am not angry, or upset, just curious.  Have you checked you followers today?

Results of the Ramsign giveaway will be posted on Sunday.

If I can still find my blog then, LOL.

Maybe it’s best to sit in the rain and sip lemonade.

Yes, that’s what I will do…

  1. Blogger has a lot of people upset lately. All my followers are gone but I'm not moving. I figure they are making some changes and everything will be brought back. I hope!! Maybe Blogger has too many bloggers to keep it going. Maybe it's full. I don't know. Frustrating! So, yes, I'll join you in the drizzle with an iced tea thank you. I'd really be sad if this whole thing went belly up wouldn't you? What would we all do? LOL Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Pamela in New Brunswick.

  2. Like I said before...they all have problems at some point. They are working on it and we all know how complicated these computers and blogs are behind the scenes.
    I'm not moving... yet.

  3. Problem is mostly on Internet Explorer. If you use Google Chrome as a browser - I haven't had problems this time around. Also they say clearing your cache helps.

  4. I can see your list of followers! But I can't see my own. Still, I'm not ready to try a different platform yet. There will always be problems, and I'm sure they will eventually get sorted. I understand your frustration in the meantime, though.

  5. I have been unable to leave comments on most blogs for many days... it is a glitch in the system... lots of bloggers expereincing the same problems. Love the pics of flowers today!

  6. I haven't experienced any problems that I'm aware of(knock on wood). I'm using Firefox. I'm just getting comfortable here. Would hate to think about moving.

  7. I haven't been posting much lately, so I haven't noticed too much of a difference. I'm still getting your posts through my Google reader!

  8. Jen, I've lost my followers too! What's up with that? Sitting in the rain, sipping lemonade, and possibly watching rainbows sounds heavenly!

  9. Hi Jen, I see you have followers. I still have a few too. I am not having any problems leaving comments..once in awhile on the word verification blogs I have to put the word in twice..that bugs me. I am reading less and less word verification blogs..I just don't have time for the words.
I use Google Chrome as a browser. I cannot identify with the problem that others are having..it must be in their settings or their browser..and if they are not complaining to blogger the issue will never get fixed.
I have two local blogs using Wordpress..and the only reason I have them in Wordpress is because the newspapers that carry the links provide it free of charge..talk about a pain in the pattootie..their software is difficult and their settings are weird.
Have a shot of something in that lemonade:)

  10. The Blogger glitches ... tis the season! Things seem to have cleared up for me. I can see your Followers too. It seems there are various issues, from someone telling me my blog was private, when it isn't. Others telling me they can't comment and if they do it shows an annoyomous. I had posts scheduled to go up and they didn't and then they magically duplicated themselves. I've thought of changing too, but then found out other formats have issues too. So I'm sticking it out. Perhaps there are wonderful changes coming to Blogger and they aren't telling us. I use Firefox as my browser, can't stand IE, and haven't really encounted any issues myself.
Keep smiling, keep taking wonderful photographs, and all will be right with Blogger soon. (at least I hope it will)

  11. OK, I hear you. I will stop my whinging. Promise.

Besides, my followers are back, and welcome to the couple of new ones!!! Hoep that you like it here, I usually don't complain this much, LOL.

And the sun is now out, and the lemonaide was wonderful, life is good.

There are also a couple of huge drops of water on the Hosta, can't wait to capture them with my camera.

    Life is good!!!!

  12. Jen - Like Diane, from Elephant's Eye, I use Google Chrome (on our home computer). The performance is MUCH better than Internet Explorer. Blogger hasn't given me too many fits... I'm hoping that's because of "Chrome"?

(I use Internet Explorer at work ... Not nearly as good a performance.)
