Did I mention in the title of this post that the weather is super gorgeous? [More about the giveaway later.]
Well it is, and it’s about time!
And it’s a long weekend.
“Hooting and hollering!!!”
Oh, that’s my neighbours watching the hockey game.
We have gone through what they are claiming to be the wettest, and coldest spring ever. Of course we thought that happened last spring.
So live and learn, DO NOT COMPLAIN!
[Because if you do, this is what you get, an even colder, and wetter spring the next year.]
I’m not, I’m dwelling in the positive frame of mind, and relishing the beauty of the suddenly green world we live in.
Because that’s what it is here, suddenly lusciously green, everywhere you look. It’s stunning, and fresh, and, and….warm?
Yes apparently this is a true spring day.
Doesn’t that make you want to just get out there and scrub, and rake, and tidy up, and clean?
While you are out there in the front yard, step back and take a good look at your house.
Can you see the house numbers clearly, or are they falling down, crooked, or just in need of a little newness?
I have the remedy for you. It’s a give away from Ramsign, a Danish company who make classic enamel signs, and house numbers.
They contacted me recently, offering to give away to you!!! my readers your choice of one of 5 different styles of classic enamel house number signs. There, now say that fast 5 times. It’s a mouthful.
I love the graceful, and clear numbers they use in their signs, easy to read, and visible, which is always important.

Get another entry for each link to Ramsign’s website, and/or this blog post, just let me know if you do.

Winner receives their choice of one of 5 different styles of house number signs, having from 1 – 5 digits. This offer does not include name signs or plaques.

ReplyDeleteSee what happens when you get your post up early. Rain, rain, rain.
Good Morning, Jen,
ReplyDeleteIt is finally getting nice here too. I think we are going to skip spring and go straight from winter to summer.
I like the arched address plaque...

Happy Saturday ~Natalie
Great signs!
ReplyDeleteThe weather is warm here - and it's green and fragrant and just delicious! Lovely shots.
Lovely hostas! Not sure if mine will come up this year as they've been decimated by rabbits for the last 2 years.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great contest also. My favourite of the styles on the website is the Engelhardt. A classic look. Thank you for entering my name.

ReplyDeleteI'd love the blue and white metropolitan sign.
Have you got the cicadas going there yet? Their sounds surrounds us in waves all day, into dusk. What a symphony!

ReplyDeleteHouse numbers Giveaway Contest sound like a winner to me. They all look great, the bigger the better as far as my preference.
Thanks,

Actually I was able to go outside on Saturday and work for hours pruning and sprucing things up in the yard. Lovely hostas, Jen and thanks for the reminder to not complain about the weather because next year just might be worse! Haha
ReplyDeleteI know we should not complain about the weather that we just cannot change but it has really been hard for me this spring.I have been one grumpy gardener. LOL! Glad to hear that you have had some better spring weather. I love pictures of rain drops or water drops on plants. Yours are so beautiful Jen.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous here, too...a little hot! lol Thanks for a chance to win a sign! I've seen these before but never entered to win one! Thanks! ♥
ReplyDeleteI love the black on white with double trim, the Highlander House Number. My house number is 186 so it would be three. If I won, I would see if there was a way to mount it on a wooden signpost to plant in my garden. I love the oval one, but if that isn't possible, the rectangle is fabulous. Thanks for the amazing give-away.
ReplyDeleteI too am LOVING the rain. The poor farmers are not so happy, but I am thrilling in this wonderful rainy and very green but colorful spring. My flowers are very happy. It is not warm here yet, but that will come and in July I will try hard to remember this luscious spring.

Jen, sorry for my tardiness in commenting. Spring seems to have me running in circles. Was this the sunny/rainy day you spoke of? It's pouring here now after a brief spell of sun. Literally one afternoon of blessed sun and would you believe I got sun burnt?! how is that even possible? the stars are not aligned in my world. I love the signs, for whatever reason this type of sign always makes me think of English homes. Not that I've ever been to England. At first I thought I liked the black on white sign but after going through them all the white on black really had me. Of course, I would need to paint my house to match that snazzy sign.
