A new week

IMG_0037

Ever wake up one morning and find yourself declaring it a new week, and being very thankful the previous week is over.  Not just the day, the entire week.  I just had one like that.

And when I woke up yesterday morning I was ever so glad to see a Monday morning.

A new start, a new chance to do it all over again.

It all started last Sunday night, and it continued on, each day just slightly more challenging, and finally ended up with our condo recovering from a overflowing drain next door.

The dehumidifier is still humming away, as I write this, and it’s driving me batty, but I know it won’t be for much longer. And I know that this is a new week, a new day, it’s a new chance.

And I am thankful.

  3. I think I hear a Michael Buble song in the background here. It's a new dawn, it's a new day....c'mon Jen, sing it with me.
Sometimes we get so bogged down with the crappy days we think we will never see the light and then suddenly the sun comes out. This is not necessarily a metaphor but our actual weather pattern this year. Lol.
I am glad things are looking up for you this week.

  9. I can see why a new week would be so cleansing for you... flooding is no fun especially when it's from someone else's issues. :-(

BTW I am entranced by the last photo in this post! WOW is all I can say!!!!

  15. A very timely post Jen, so thanks for that. Even though my challenges over the last couple of months have been positive ones, they've still been jolly hard work at times and I too was very glad to get to this week!
    Fabulous photos, as ever :)
