April is a promise that May is bound to keep. ~Hal Borland
I certainly hope that May is going to keep that promise, spring is everywhere in April. The leaves are budding, the birds are singing. And the temperatures are dropping…again.
We have had more then a few nights of frost.
How about you? Are spring promises being kept?

It's warm and delicious here - at last!
ReplyDeleteI'm very fond of May. Who knows what delights this one will bring!
ReplyDeleteNot so far. My poor magnolia is frozen... Hopefully it will get warm soon!
ReplyDeleteAnd what a beautiful promise this is. Such a gorgeous photo too. :<)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I'll eventually get used to the weather patterns here. Right now, they seem off kilter and slow.
ReplyDeleteThe forecast is looking promising so far ... we can only hope.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to May! It's a happy month for me! The weather here in the mountains is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe have had hard frosts for quite a few nights Jen girl .. garden centers have lost a lot of annual stock .. one of the Loblaws one thought it was about $1,000 worth where I was strolling .. wilted basket after wilted basket .. Today it is beautiful out there though .. so a promise will keep me going !

Here in NC it has been green and budding since April. We have a hada couple of cool snaps, but today is 79 and sunny...
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear that spring is finally arriving there for you. It's been such a transition from your old home, of course!
ReplyDeleteThe weather is warm and wonderful here in Kentucky this week. Promises to be a beautiful Kentucky Derby.:)
ReplyDeleteWe're having the opposite problem with April temps suddenly leaping up making it feel like July. It's really confusing the garden.
