Rocky’s writing lines…..

1-Gardening-0672

This is my cat Bootsie, we call him Boo.  He loves the backyard, but he’s not a fan of dogs.

2-Gardening-0664

Rocky is the next door neighbour’s dog, who loves to sneak up on the Boo, and surprise him and myself with a bout of barking furiously.

3-Gardening-0665

It works every time.

4-Gardening-0666

The barking, not writing lines.  Don’t know who jumped higher that time, me or the cat.

Both the Boo, and I are a fan of big fences.

  2. I am sorry to say that my dog Bentley barks at cats too. While he loves people and other dogs, he chases every cat that comes into our yard. I suppose he should be writing his apologies like Rocky. Cute post!

  3. Scout always barks at cats. To her, they are the Enemy.

  4. I was all ready to have that doggie as "the enemy" until I saw his picture. {so cute!} He looks pretty innocent to me. ;o)

  5. We have a rottweiller next door that sounds like a hound from hell, I swear. She growls and slathers like something out of a horror movie. Oh, and she jumps. Really high. In an attempt to get over the 3 ft. fence they have. It makes me extremely nervous and I don't trust it not to get over one day.

  6. Really cute post Jen, sorry I have not been around to visit much, having problems with access while I am travelling-apparently the world wide web sometimes is not.

  9. Looks like life is settling in around you and Boo. Hope you are happy with your move, sometime new neighbors can be exacerbating.

  10. Fences do make for good neighbors!! We had the same thing at our last house, I think the cat took great pleasure in knowing that the dogs couldn't get to her!

I hope you're having an enjoyable day!!

  11. What a naughty little dog. And I'll bet it chuckles every time one of you jumps. Naughty, naughty dog.

  13. Too funny. There's just something about the interaction between cats and dogs...they're so entertaining!

i'm with the squirt bottle idea..
my three felines KNOW if mommy shakes the bottle, they are in big trouble..
    they learned quickly..
I'm sure in no time at all Rocky can be trained with the same result..
    try it..Boo will thank you!
    Hugs and smiles..
