As bloggers we are individuals
in a community of online
enthusiasts who have joined
together to make a enormous
group of talented, caring
people formed with great
compassion, and thoughtfulness.
Our strength lies not in
individual stats, or comments,
but in our ability to be
compassionate, nurturing, and
caring as a community when it’s needed.
And in the end, we all come together to prove when you blog, you are not alone.
We tend to long term online friendships with people we might never have a chance to see in person, sharing both the good and the bad in our lives as if we were there face to face.
We care for each other, support, pray, check up on, send best wishes and healing thoughts to those in our online world. There is always room for more virtual hugs.
Bloggers are among the most nurturing, helpful, and wonderful people out there, visit a blog when a crisis hits, and you will understand how we pull together and offer support. It’s a community that cares immensely for it’s members.
It’s pretty amazing, it’s our online world.
Aren’t you proud to be part of it?
Jen @ Muddy Boot Dreams

Hello, Jen,
ReplyDeleteI just popped over from Diane's "Lavender Dreams" and I'm so glad I did. Your kind words are uplifting. You are right to say that our blogging pals are always there to encourage and extend their hands in friendship.
We are all truly blessed!
Have a sweet day.
Carolynn
That is a beautiful tribute. I've long felt the warm embrace of faraway friends that occurs in this virtual world. It's an amazing gathering of friends that I am so proud and grateful to be a part of.
ReplyDeleteThose are delicious photos, too!
What you've written about garden bloggers is true I think. It's interesting because it is definitely much less true of some other on-line communities, including those dealing with politics, entertainment, and technology.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the first photo in this post! Actually I love all of them but the first one has me coming back for multiple peeks. I don't know if any other bloggers do that. But I often fall in love with one of your images and then I have to come back to look at a few more times after first seeing it. That's one reason I am so grateful for the blogging community. I can do that and not bother you in the process. hee hee
ReplyDeleteI sure am proud and kudos to all...we are amazing aren't we.
ReplyDeleteYes I am, and your photos are gorgeous!
