Some Bloggers can create a
spark in other bloggers just by
being themselves they are
inspiring a interest that can
ramp up your creativity.
Their words resonate
you wish you had written them
yourself. Their photos are the
ones that you wish you has taken
and it seems that somehow you
are almost linked as blogging sisters.
Are you a blogging sister?
It’s quite possible that you are. Do you have a blogging sister, [brother]
one that posts your thoughts, just before you do?
It’s a big family out there in blog land, so it’s not too unusual to think we might run into bloggers who seem to have a similar theme running through their posts, even if it’s unknown to the both of you until it’s published.
You know you’re a blogging sister when communication is like a stream running out of the ground the ideas are flowing back and forth so fast, each sentence sparks another idea, nurture that if you find it, it’s pretty amazing.
I’m fortunate to have more then one, do you have any?
There are a limited amount of personalities out there, maybe that’s why we get along great with some people. Does the same apply to blogging, why do you read the blogs you read? Do you feel like you connect with what the blogger is writing, and showing?
Heather from Life is a garden and I have been communicating back and forth a lot lately, and that’s where the term blogging sisters comes from, seems we are definitely on the same wavelength. We are even finding inspiration in our emails back and forth, life’s a garden, full of muddy boot dreams, and we are having a blast.
Drop by Heather’s blog, she’s a fellow Canadian, like me, and see what she posted today, we’ve kept quiet about it to each other, and while we will have different perspectives on this, it will be interesting to see them.
A blogging sister….Jen @ Muddy Boot Dreams
oooh, I love posts like this, I will visit right this minute!!I have a strong sense that you and I click quite often, I like that, have a great day my friend,
ReplyDeleteThe berry clusters look luminous. Sometimes you pose questions in such interesting ways I forget how compelling the photos next to your words can be. The bloggers I like to follow are people who genuinely want to share their world, creativity or adventures in some way. I guess that includes sisters and brothers. :)
ReplyDeleteI hopped over to meet Heather at her blog. I find that as bloggers we post about similar things from time to time.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, Jen
ReplyDeleteI don't know that I'd go as far as saying I have "blogging sisters", but I do enjoy inspiration from many different blogging sources and appreciate the more personal emails shared with a couple of their writers.
I'll be sure to read your friend's post today.
As always, your photos glow with beauty.
-Karen
I know what you mean here . There are a lot of blogger sisters I have been able to connect with and have quite the same interests and sense of humor ! I will pop over and check out her blog . Lovely photos and post .From one Canadian to another have a good day eh?
ReplyDeleteHey Jen... well I must say... there are definitely a few thoughts that I would say are "exactly" the same as mine, LOL! So glad we did this...Hugs.
ReplyDeleteP.S. for some reason though my scheduling thing didn't work and some of your friends visited and my post wasn't there... don't know what happened, but it's fixed now!
I do not yet have such blogging sisters but I hope I will. I used to have a live journal and I had a number of friends like those you are describing; we were a good company. I hope to find more friends, too.
ReplyDeleteThe photos are stunning, but I must say the header with pears is just breathtaking! It is a real masterpiece. I must look for larger pictures, hope you have them somewhere on the blog...
Interesting post, Jen, and I love the cranberry photos! I sometimes feel that way about other bloggers too. :-)
ReplyDeleteI think that when you have a passionate interest like gardening in common, it is easy to feel a connection with another blogger. I am happy to say that I have lots of blogging "sisters".
ReplyDeleteYes she must be your blogging sister..I asked if I can be a cousin?? You both have a calming effect on me..might be the photos or the words..thanks for being you! :)
ReplyDeleteLoved the pictures and the topic.
ReplyDeleteBlog sisters are the best!
Jen, I’m so happy you and Heather met and found common ground. You both have me smiling today. Best Monday.
ReplyDeleteWonderful berry clusters!
ReplyDeleteI have connections with many bloggers I consider close and there are some that I have met in person that are true friends. I definitely think we can bond over the internet, especially with like minded people. And I want to say I'm glad I met you, Jen...it's been fun getting to know you better these past few weeks!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
The photos which capture all the beautiful fall colors in your area are spectacular.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of your beautiful, photogenic cat!
You have a gift for taking exquisite pictures...be it a cookie, a cat, or a berry. Wow! So enjoyable to view. And your accompanying thoughts are so well written too.
It's funny how we get close to some bloggers, in the fashion you explain here. Sometimes it seems that person is your opposite instead of being like you.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
I love finding bloggers that have the same humor as I do or the same views and passions. I don't really think of them as 'sisters' though, (especially since my own sister is the complete opposite of me!), but more as 'kindred spirits'.
ReplyDeleteJen, I hopped over to Heather's blog and as I commented to her, you two indeed are in sync. What a wonderful "experiment". Some of the nicest people I have met, I've never physically "met". I know them only through this strange/wonderful blogging connection. Ann
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty awesome Jen! I visited Heather's blog and you two are on the same wave length. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteJen - I am fairly new to the blogging world and don't know that I actually have a blogging sister yet. I do have blogs that I visit everyday because we have the same interests or I love the way they write. So, maybe some of these will turn into my blogging sisters!
ReplyDeleteJudy
Hmmmmmmmm never thought about Blogging sisters before. But I connect with some bloggers, maybe that's the start!!!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading and looking at your wonderful photos on a daily basis. Sometimes I don't get to read it till late in the day or sometimes if I cannot sleep through the night, up way early to read it. I always come away thinking, gee I wish I could do a blog like yours. But I can never come up with any ideas. I just post according what I am taking with the camera, depending on my mood, depending on how I am feeling that day. Though I do find a lot of the bloggers are posting similar photos like now with all the leaves changing and such.
ReplyDeleteThanks for recommending Heather's blog--I love it! I know what you mean about blogging sisters. I feel like I have so many--and each blogger connects on a unique level. Great post!
ReplyDeleteI'd say that we are kindred spirits.
ReplyDeleteIsn't funny how we can feel so connected to someone we've only 'met' on the internet? I've connected with so many wonderful folks through this great medium and am glad to now have met you too Jen, a fellow Canadian blogger! Found my way to you through Judy over at 20 North Ora, saw your reply to her post where you mentioned that your hubby had proposed to you in White Rock (where my parents live) so had to come visit you. So glad to make your acquaintance! Deb
ReplyDeleteThere are so many times that you blog what I am feeling. I definitely feel you are one of my blogging sisters.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Laura
Such a nice post!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes I AM...and I DO have blogging sisters! I love that I've made so many friends and found so many kindred spirits! I love how many times I'm reading a friends blog and they email me or comment on mine! It happens a lot! And I'm glad we are blog buddies, too! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteIndeed I do have blogging sisters...I look forward to their posts.
