Easy chalkboard gift tags

 I’m gaga over gift tags.

I love them, and have

boxes of tags that I have

created over the years…

some I can hardly bear

to part with because they

are so dear to my heart.

I told you I am gaga over

them. These chalkboard

look alike tags are so

cute and easy to make

I just had to share them

with you.

Since I couldn’t find the correct black paper to look just like a chalkboard, I used brown, and you know it’s fine…

I just cut the background paper slightly larger then I wanted the chalkboard part to be, and glued them together.

They could be considered reusable if you wipe off the chalk later…

  4. J like the brown chalk board. It looks rather gingerbready. And I really like the little bowl of pine cones and greenery.

  7. Was about to copy. I don't usually make a big deal of tags and realise they could jazz up a simple gift immensely. However, was hoping you'd explain how to make non-rub-offable chalk. The ordinary kind will splodge in the post.

  9. Well aren't you just the craftiest gal. I cut up old Christmas cards and attach pretty string to them for tags. Christmas crafts are the best!
