Fang Shui for cats

You’ve heard of Feng Shui, the 4-Fang shui-1636

ancient Chinese art of balancing

the energies of a space.

My friend found the cutest

little book in her travels and

immediately thought of me

Titled Fang Shui, and written by

Catfucius it comes with a cute

little cat bookmark and some

great feline wisdom.

I left it on my desk the other day

and noticed that it was covered

in cat hair when I went back.

Use the energy of the earth to ensure a successful hunt, flatten your body, become one with the dirt. Feel it’s power flowing through you.

5-Fang shui-1630

Seems like someone furry is checking it out.  He has already adopted some of the practices in order to maintain and create the best Ch’i for himself.

6-Fang shui-1631

Loud noises are disruptive to feng shui.  Avoid vacuum cleaners inside the home, and lawnmowers outside the home.

2-Heart Cookies-1507

Restore the spirit, when necessary by eating the right thing.

Whatever is in the food bowl at a given moment is not the right thing.

Sit and stare at the bowl.  Eventually someone else will offer you something else.

Sniff at that, and walk away.  Eat it later when they are not looking.

The cat strives for grace and elegance of movement at all times.

Failing this, act as though any inelegant gesture was intentional.

It looks like Boo is a master at Fang Shui…..

  1. That looks like the 'purr'fect book for cats and cat lovers. I"ll have to keep my eyes open for that one.

  2. Now doesn't this little book to speak to the CAT. I have to laugh because our Mo cat is ferrel which makes him a real tough guy. No hugs. No kisses. No cuddling. He's all claws and attitude. The tough guy sleeps in the garage at night because he terrorized the other two cats in the night. And he prefers the loneliness. However, he is the one who hogs the furnace vent to warm his little tail when he comes in from the garage. Love the little book and it seems that so does Boo.

  4. OMG ! Jen girl this is a perfect book for my girls as well .. and no doubt it would be FULL of cat fur just as another option for full "cat art media" to cover all the basis.
My Brit friend sent me some tiny but thick cat books that make me laugh every time I read them.
Cat books are the BEST !
    Joy : )

  6. Love it. I do feel though that cats do not need a book to know this. We do, to keep up with them :)

  19. Haha! This is wonderful....and so true. I think all cats are masters of this instinctively. No wonder they can lay about like they have no bones in their bodies, they know how to relax and reserve energy! Ann

  22. What a great book. Our cats have the heaters completely mastered and if the heaters don't dispense enough warmth at night they jump on us.

  23. I have not seen that book in my house, but I am sure it is hidden here someplace. I am positive my cat has read it!

  24. Very funny! I think most cats are already masters of Fang Shui!

  25. So true! Especially the food dish stare. Of course, the cat's human companion must also be well-trained in the ways of feline Feng Shui.
