No matter how long the winter

No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow.

So if you have to fake it inside because it’s not outside….yet.

Do what it take to make spring bloom.

  2. Beautiful pictures, you know what they say, fake it til you make it. Maybe it works with Mother Nature, too.

  7. I'm totally in agreement with faking it - lol! Love the speckled eggs. I have a faux nest that I love that's been out for a while. It seems that the big shift is on though - at least the garden seems to think so. Happy to see some signs of life finally!

  9. It's the only way to go. Everything is so white outside here that I have to wear sunglasses even on cloudy days just to avoid going blind. Seriously. Things are greening up inside though.

  10. I'm working on that. I think it's time to really get serious about seed starting indoors. I'm just too antsy to not be growing anything right now.

  15. Great pictures! No where near spring here yet. :( But the snow is gradually melting. But....we can get up to 4 inches tomorrow! Winter just doesn't want to leave! I guess I will just have to "fake" it!

  16. Well Jen, it just so happens that I'm getting a little tired of faking it indoors! I want the real thing, please?

  17. I am doing a bit of the fake spring inside the house but one real, honest to goodness reality inside . . . my Hibiscus bloomed on Friday . . .

  18. I declare that Spring has arrived. One morning as I opened the garage door to head to work, I heard the first meadow lark of the spring calling to his lady. And the robins are acting a bit robust and unabashedly romantic. The tulips and daffodils have broken through. Yes, I'd say Spring has arrived.

  19. Wise advice, Jen! I'm definitely doing what I can to make spring happen. Cheers!

  20. Your beautiful vignettes certainly invoke the muse of Spring Jen, now if it would just stop snowing so that we could enjoy her for real! Lovely photographs as always, thank you for putting a little Spring into this snowy Thompson-Okanogan day :O)

  22. Love the photos. I've been doing the same thing here. I actually decorated for Easter for the first time in quite a few years. The weather here in SC is playing with us. This weekend we had 80's all weekend and now this week we headed back down to the 50's with temps in the 20's at night cold and rainy.. Cant wait for Spring to finally arrive!

  34. I just love what you said that "No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow."

Definitely as this season is often associated with rebirth, renewal and regrowth.
