Now that is one cool machine and I do not mean just the frost on it. I have never saw anything like it. i guess I never thought about how one picks a field of asparagus before.That bright blue does shine in the white snow and makes a pretty shot. Next week you will be in your new home. How terrific.

Asparagus is my favorite veggie and I would never have dreamed how it was harvested. I will have renewed appreciation knowing someone surfed the earth for my pleasure.

Good Morning Jen! Won't be long now until you're waking up in your own home...bet you can't wait. I believe I have seen one of these before but I can't remember when. Makes me think about aching shoulders and upper back but I guess it would be better than walking and bending over all day. Love the colour and the frost patterns. Great photos! I love that vivid blue with the frosting detail .. hope the fingers are better by now ? LOL
When we saw the asparagus mounds in Belgium they were grown in trenches in a very sandy soil mix. It looked strange in the fields and I had to ask what it was !
Then when it comes into season and all the bistros are serving the white type .. well how many ways can you serve it ? many many many ways ! with lots of wine and beer!
