Hi, I'm Jen, from Muddy Boot Dreams
Yep, that's me, I don't do photos, I really don't like being in front of the camera, maybe that's why I am always behind it. But there is this photo of me and the farm dogs, and it looks like me, so I thought I would use it.
Here's my updated life as of April 2013
We've settled in, it feels like home, life is good. I'm always busy it seems, there are still things to be done, new places to see. Bit, by bit we are adding more gardens to make our home settle into the landscape.
It's also very important to me to see that the birds, and Boots our cat have a great yard to visit. I am working on planting bird friendly, areas. It all takes time, but we are stubbornly organic here, and I am happy with that.
How we got here:
We've had these Muddy Boot Dreams for so many years, and suddenly in December of 2011 they came true. We sold our little condo in White Rock, BC near the beach, and have moved to the land of endless skies, and rolling mountains. It's both hectic, and exciting, and now we have our dream home. We live on the side of a mountain in a rural suburb. Not quite where we thought we would end up, but it's our dream, and perfect for us.

My favorite part of me is my creative spirit, I love crafting, gardening, cooking, and photography, in fact I had a sign in my garden that says "follow your bliss" and I do plan on doing that.
